OnePlus 15 global launch could happen sooner than expected, possibly stealing Galaxy S26's spotlight
Rumor has it that the OnePlus 15 might be hitting global markets sooner than we think. If what "industry sources" are saying is true, we could see it as early as November 13. That's a pretty tight turnaround from its expected launch in China later this month.
To put things in perspective, the OnePlus 13 had a much bigger gap between its China and global releases. It came out in China in late October one year, but didn't make its way to the rest of the world until early January of the following year.
If OnePlus manages to pull this off, it might just beat Samsung to the punch. We're all expecting the Galaxy S26 to show up sometime in January, based on past launches. But if the OnePlus 15 arrives in November, it'll definitely steal some of Samsung's thunder.
What else do we know about the OnePlus 15? Well, it's packing some serious power with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It also boasts a super smooth 165Hz screen. Camera-wise, there's talk of a 3.7x telephoto lens. Also, OnePlus is going solo on image processing now that its partnership with Hasselblad is over.
Interestingly, there are whispers of a massive 7,800mAh battery in some versions, along with a slightly lower-res 1.5K display. It looks like OnePlus is trying to make a splash with the OnePlus 15!
