HONOR's Magic V6 Foldable to Debut Early at MWC 2026, Featuring a Robot Phone
Mark your calendars, tech enthusiasts! HONOR is gearing up to make a splash at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026, and I've got the inside scoop. The company has officially sent out press invites for a launch event scheduled for March 1st, and it sounds like it's going to be a big one.
While other companies might just be there to see what's new, HONOR is bringing the heat with a couple of exciting devices. The star of the show? The next-generation Magic V6, their book-style foldable phone. What’s more, its battery capacity has been spotted on China’s 3C database, revealing a rated capacity of around 7,000mAh. It appears the Magic V6 will also have a variant that may have a 6700mAh battery
I find this especially interesting because it means we're getting our hands on the Magic V6 much sooner than anyone anticipated. For context, the previous model, the Magic V5, didn't hit the market until July of last year in China, and its global launch was in August. To see the V6 this early in the year suggests HONOR is really stepping up its game.
More Than Just Foldables
But wait, there's more! Along with the Magic V6, HONOR will also be unveiling what they're calling the "Robot Phone," a device that apparently boasts some kind of gimbal system. While the details are scarce, it definitely piques my interest. I imagine it's going to be centered around advanced camera stabilization – perfect for capturing smooth videos on the go.
That's not all, folks. The cherry on top is that HONOR hints at launching other "all-scenario flagship devices" at the event. So, keep your eyes peeled. It seems like HONOR is planning a major showcase, and I, for one, am eager to see what they have in store.
The launch event is scheduled for 1:00 PM CET (7:00 AM ET) on March 1st, 2026, at the Palau de Congressos de Barcelona, Spain. I'll be keeping a close watch, and I'll be sure to bring you all the details as they unfold. So, stay tuned.
