Galaxy S25 FE Alternatives: Top Android Phones to Consider Before You Buy
Samsung's Galaxy S25 FE is the newest member of the S25 family, but before you jump on the bandwagon, let's consider if it's really the best bang for your buck. With a 6.7-inch display, Exynos 2400 chipset, and a $649 price tag, it's certainly tempting. However, I think there are better options on the market that deserve your attention.
The Google Pixel 10: My Personal Favorite
If it were my money, I'd pick the Google Pixel 10 without hesitation. For me, it boils down to the software. While some people love Samsung's One UI, I'm a bigger fan of Google's Pixel software. It’s clean, intuitive, and the Material 3 design is simply gorgeous.
Beyond aesthetics, the Pixel 10 boasts features that, once you've experienced them, are hard to live without. Take "Now Playing," for instance, or the suite of Call Assist tools. Plus, I feel that the Pixel 10 just looks better. Its smaller size makes it easier to handle, and the color options are fantastic. Don't get me started on the superior telephoto camera and the convenience of built-in magnets for wireless charging! Yes, it's a bit more expensive, but in my view, it's worth every penny.
Sticking with Samsung? Consider the Galaxy S25 Plus
If you are loyal to Samsung, I suggest checking out the Galaxy S25 Plus. The S25 Plus is superior to the S25 FE in nearly every aspect. We're talking a more durable build, a brighter display, a faster Snapdragon processor, and more memory.
Sure, it's pricier, but since it's been out for a while, you can often find it on sale. I’ve seen some great deals that make it a much more attractive option than settling for the FE model.
OnePlus 13R: The Undisputed Champion
For those looking for a great deal, the OnePlus 13R should be on your radar. The 13R generally beats the Galaxy S25 FE. A larger, brighter display, a more powerful Snapdragon chip, and a whopping 6,000mAh battery with super-fast charging make it a tough competitor.
Admittedly, the Galaxy S25 FE has a more durable design and a longer software update commitment. However, at just $599, the OnePlus 13R is hard to ignore.
Dare to Fold? The Motorola Razr (2025)
If you want something completely different, the Motorola Razr (2025) is worth considering. As a foldable phone, it offers a unique experience the S25 FE can't match. The ability to fold it into a compact square is not only cool but also practical.
It might not have the best specs in every category, but the Razr (2025) brings a certain "wow" factor that's hard to deny. Plus, its price is competitive, making it an intriguing alternative.
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE: A Foldable for Samsung Fans
Samsung has now extended its FE series to foldables with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. When compared to the Motorola Razr (2025), the Flip 7 FE falls short in certain aspects. However, as a Samsung device, it includes features such as Galaxy AI, One UI, compatibility with Galaxy Watches, and seven years of Android updates.
While it may not be a must-buy at its full retail price, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is worth considering if you can find it on sale. I mean, who can resist a good deal?
